Location: Remote (with potential travel to client sites)Description:Functional/Technical Data Migration Specialist – AssetSuite 8Position OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned Functional and Technical Resource with deep experience in AssetSuite 8 to support a large-scale data migration and integration initiative. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both business processes and technical execution related to data conversion, migration, and integration within enterprise asset management environments. This individual will play a key role in defining data strategy, designing conversion approaches, and ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the migration lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and document data strategy and migration approaches for moving data to or from AssetSuite 8.Perform data analysis, mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness.Lead and support data conversion activities, including extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand data requirements and functional dependencies.Work hands-on with ETL tools and Dell Boomi integration platform to design and execute automated migration workflows.Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and ensure successful implementation.Provide post-migration validation, issue resolution, and performance optimization support.Contribute to overall data governance and quality assurance practices.Required Qualifications5–10 years of experience working with AssetSuite 8 (functional and/or technical roles).Proven track record with data migration/conversion projects involving AssetSuite 8.Proficiency with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or equivalent).Experience designing and implementing integrations using Dell Boomi.Ability to write and maintain data strategy and design documentation.Strong understanding of data models, relational databases, and SQL.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to collaborate across functional, technical, and business teams.Preferred QualificationsExperience in utility or asset-intensive industries (e.g., energy, water, transportation).Prior involvement in ERP or EAM modernization or cloud migration projects.Familiarity with data governance frameworks and metadata management.Experience Level: 5–10 yearsNotes:Remote (with potential travel to client sites)VIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
