Description:

Overview:
Client is seeking a highly skilled artificial intelligence/machine learning engineer, computer vision or NLP scientist, or big data specialist to advance automation and autonomy technologies for sophisticated off-board vehicle instrumentation and controls systems, as well as associated monitoring platforms. In this position, you will collaborate with an innovative team leveraging advanced methodologies and tools, including petabyte-scale datasets, to perform cutting-edge analytics and model development. Your expertise will play a significant role in driving the development of intelligent, automated equipment and enhancing decision-making capabilities for agricultural professionals.

Noteworthy examples or experiences that distinguish you include:


Technical:
Excellent coding skills that include production software deployment
Data engineering, ML modeling, & decision science with terabyte or petabyte level data sources
Experience (concept to production) developing and deploying novel machine learning solutions
MLOps workflows with tools like AWS services (IAM, Lambda, S3, MLflow), Databricks, or related.
Building productionized workflows involving large and disparate data sources (e.g. images, rasters, parquet, time-series, geo-tagged, text, and other unstructured data)
Building real-time & interactive dashboards involving spatiotemporal/GIS visualization tools (e.g. Folium, Plotly), and labeling systems like SuperAnnotate, Labelbox, Voxel51.
Debugging complex hardware & software systems, and associated data issues

Communication & Leadership:
Influencing without authority, building rapport, persuading key collaborators, communicating progress/recommendations/methods/insights to stakeholders (e.g. product & delivery managers)
Scoping work & setting priorities, leading brainstorming sessions & proof of concept studies, organizing teams in an Agile style delivery environment, & executing with consistency
Define, quantify, and analyze key performance and customer value Indicators/metrics to support successful outcomes.

Education & Invention:
Advanced technical degree (Ph.D. or equivalent experience preferred)
Publishing novel research in journals and conferences
Patents (including delivery of patented solution)
