Job Description
This role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing ETL solutions using Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC). This role requires strong hands-on experience with Data Integration (DI), Taskflows, Mappings, parameter files, and reusable transformations to build scalable, secure, and high-performing data pipelines. The candidate will manage metadata, ensure data accuracy and integrity, and drive continuous optimization within the IDMC and data warehouse environment.
The individual will collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional IT teams to translate functional requirements into well-architected IDMC-based data integration solutions. Responsibilities include developing ETL mapping specifications, performance tuning, ensuring data security compliance, and supporting the migration, enhancement, and maintenance of IDMC workflows aligned with enterprise data warehousing best practices.
Typically requires 4 to 5 years of relevant real time experience, including at least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC. A strong foundation in data warehousing concepts, data integration methodologies, and solution delivery under general supervision with independent judgment is essential for this role.
Ideal candidate will have skills and experience in the following areas:
Knowledge in data warehouse best practice standards
Strong experience in PowerCenter to IDMC migration.
Experience in design, development, and testing in IDMC.
Proficient in writing and analyzing complex SQL queries in Oracle, DB2, SQL Server.
Hands-on experience using Control-M for job scheduling and workflow automation.
Moderate skills working with relational and dimensional data models
Moderate skills working with slowly changing dimensions
Proven ability to diagnose and remediate ETL and DB Query performance bottlenecks.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of meetings with customers and technical staff

Design, develop, and maintain relational databases for data storage and data mining. Perform data warehouse design and testing, including data design, database architecture, metadata, and repository creation. Develop processes and procedures for entering information into data warehousing systems and for ensuring reliability of information entered. Seek continuous improvement in performance of data warehouse and ensure security of data.
