Job Description

Description:

This position on the Medicare Risk Adjustment submissions team will be responsible for the data management process surrounding file receipt and submission of risk adjustment data to the Center for Medicare/Medicaid services. Responsibilities include, understanding data requirements, using SAS and SQL to process and create submission data files, editing and formatting data to comply with submission guidelines, creating and maintaining datasets, data retrieval, validation, analysis, reconciliation and audit trail documentation, interacting with vendors, providers and internal constituents and closely working with other team member to effectively manage the workflow and achieve commitments. Team members in this position will utilize Base SAS 9.4 Windows 11 version and AWS Athena to perform data retrieval and comparisons.

This position requires a self motivated individual with a strong problem solving curiosity and high attention to detail.


Experience
Fluent with Base SAS & SQL, ETL, data manipulations with strong attention to detail.

Education
Prefers a 2 or 4 year degree; but will consider extensive work experience over education.

Candidates should possess strong verbal communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate information in a manner that can be easily understood by colleagues across various departments and leadership levels throughout client. 

Candidate MUST possess SAS Based Certification(s) and/or have a minimum 1-2 yrs work experience for this position. SAS Advanced is a plus.

Monday - Friday 8:00 - 4:30 EST
Remote with future possibility of onsite
This role is primarily work-from-home; however, quarterly on-site meetings are required.
