Database Conversion Specialist


Summary

Delivers expertise in driving sustained customer success and post sales growth across the entire customer lifecycle—including training, professional services, technical support, renewals, outcome achievement, retention, account expansion, and customer advocacy—with a strong emphasis on digital engagement. Influences departmental operations and contributes to planning and execution activities. While the role operates with some autonomy, it focuses on executing established processes and functional best practices. Judgment is occasionally required but typically exercised with guidance.

Roles and Responsibilities

Support the implementation of MES solutions using the Software Suite, owning all technical deliverables throughout the project lifecycle. Engage in every phase of assigned projects—contributing to architectural, design, and functional decisions—to help ensure delivery aligns with budget, timelines, and customer expectations. Collaborate closely with clients to understand their requirements and develop tailored strategies through site assessments. Provide standard recommendations on workflows, applications, interfaces, reporting, testing, and data uploads during implementation. Responsible for go live preparation, go live support, and post deployment check-ins, working collaboratively with internal teams and clients to ensure a successful rollout and high customer satisfaction.

In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.

Required Skills
Strong MS SQL Server experience (development, interpret and understand complex queries, data validation, troubleshooting)
Excellent communication skills
excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking
Capable of communicating technical information clearly and effectively
Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
Experience working cross functionally with technical and non technical teams
Ability to manage multiple customer implementations simultaneously
Background in scripting or automation (Batch, PowerShell, or similar)
Experience with project coordination and time management for your own projects
handle fast paced, high pressure workload – self starter
Excellent note taking and documentation skills
Able to independently assess and prioritize work based on urgency and impact
Regular long shifts, weeknight / weekend work required

Desired Skills
Familiarity with healthcare data formats
Experience with client Muse
Experience supporting back-end databases for software systems
Experience with EMR/EHR systems or healthcare practice management platforms
Knowledge of HIPAA requirements and data privacy best practices
Experience with data conversions, migrations, or ETL processes
Windows server knowledge
Customer facing experience
Programming language (vb.net, c#, c++)
Experience in a tech support role / help desk role
