Description:The client is looking for a Desktop Support IV.Desktop Support 4 - IS Technical Services Cons/AdminProject Details: The client requires Desktop Support staff to maintain a working knowledge of our internal computer system. The technician will be in charge of repairing and maintaining thousands of desktops, laptops and other PC devices. They will also be installing new PC's and laptops to replace end of life cycle equipment. The technician will be doing those tasks while maintaining inventory and properly disposing of outdated equipment by recycling those items per client policies. The technician will also maintain and close work orders in the client ticketing system. The technician receives oversight from the Field Tech Manager to ensure that policy, procedure and methodology are being followed.Top Skills (3) & Years of Experience: 2 years of experience required.- Customer service/interaction with users during device setup- Imaging Devices- Efficiently and independently managing service tickets and life cycling old equipmentNice to Have:- Must be able to work independently but in a team environment.- Must be able to meet deadlines.- Must be able to multi-task and balance their workday.Notes:100% On-site.This is an in-person job with no remote work.Candidate must have ability to work a flexible schedule and days lasting longer than 8 hoursVIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
