Description:
The HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) Facilities Lead will assist Operations Manager with overseeing facility operations, maintenance, and contractor relationships while enforcing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Key responsibilities include emergency preparedness, safety training, incident investigations, and managing budgets for repairs and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Assist in implementation and maintaining HSE management systems, policies, and procedures.
Conduct regular facility inspections and audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Identifies hazards and performs risk assessments.
Oversee building maintenance, security, and infrastructure, including HVAC, fire alarms, and safety equipment.
Lead investigations into accidents, injuries, and near-misses, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Assist with managing vendor relationships, negotiates contracts, and ensures contractors adhere to safety protocols.
Organize and conduct HSE training programs and employee orientations.
Assist in developing and maintaining drill emergency response plans.
Essential Requirements of the Role
2-5 years experience in both facility management and health and safety roles in a manufacturing site.
Strong understanding of OSHA, environmental regulations, and building codes.
Proficiency in MS Office and safety management software, excellent communication, and strong leadership abilities.
Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to details.

Education
Associates Degree or higher
Industry Background or Experience

Notes:
7:30am to 4:00pm (flex between 7:30-8am start)
Need candidates with regulatory reporting experience.
