Position Overview


Position Summary
The Electrical Cabinet Assembler is responsible for assembling and wiring cabinets in accordance with engineering drawings, and work instructions. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work with hand and power tools, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
Assemble electrical control cabinets and panels according to engineering drawing and wiring diagrams
Install components such as relays, circuit breakers, terminal blocks, and wiring.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, layout drawings.
Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety protocols

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring, or similar manufacturing environment preferred
Ability to read and interpret drawings
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
Basic understanding of electrical components and wiring practices
Experience with industrial control panels or electrical cabinet assembly
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Good communication and teamwork skills

High level of precision required
Small wiring or labeling errors may not be immediately visible but can cause major failures.
Repetitive work without losing focus
Staying detail-oriented during repetitive assembly tasks can be difficult over time.
Adherence to exact specifications
Must follow instructions precisely without shortcuts.

Auto Cad

Industry Background or Experience
Electrical Equipment / Panel Building
Switchgear, MCC panels, control cabinets

Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds regularly
Ability to stand, bend, and work for extended periods
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for detailed work
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment (may include noise, dust, and varying temperatures)

Special Equipment Required
steel toe shoes/ boots

Notes:
6:00am to 2:30pm (or 2pm-10:30pm if available for 2nd shift)
