Description:Job ResponsibilitiesAs an Electrical Engineer for you will develop vehicle electrical systems for Riding Lawn Mowers and some Compact Utility Tractors. You will work closely with supply management, quality, PV&V, program management and other cross-functional teams throughout the product development process.Responsibilities:Own and develop electrical system requirements (hardware and/or software) in collaboration with cross-functional teamsDevelop and release electrical systems that include vehicle harnesses in the client production systemCreate and organize bills of material for electrical systems on client vehiclesWork with outside suppliers on component feasibility, development, and integrationProvide build support at various stages throughout the product development cycleWhat Skills You Need (Required skills/experiences)3+ years of vehicle electrical system design, integration, or testing experienceExperience with developing, designing or testing electrical component, wiring harnesses, schematics, and a good understanding of software/hardware interactionDemonstrated experience owning and managing project deliverablesKnowledge of general product development processesSelf-motivated with the ability to manage time effectivelyProvide clear concise oral/written communicationAbility to work off-shift hours, as needed, to support production during buildsAbility to travel domestically and internationally, up to 10%What Makes You Stand Out (Desired skills/experiences)Agriculture or other off-highway vehicle development experienceExperience creating and maintaining bills of material for vehicle systems or test equipment systemsExperienced in either product development software development or writing test scripting in embedded product validation and verification such as SIL or HiL test stand.Experience developing wiring harnesses and electrical systems using 3D CAD toolsProject management experienceExperience leading and training new team members/peersExperience leading design/test work performed by remotely located team membersAdvanced training in additional engineering disciplinesExperience with systems engineering practicesEducationIdeally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or other relevant disciplineNotes:1st shift-OnsiteCore hours: 8am-5pm CST
