Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Electronic Engineer II with 4 - 7 years of experience to join our team. This position involves designing and developing analog and DC power electronics for infrastructure communications circuits. The successful candidate will work closely with another power electronics engineer and interface with a mechanical engineer. Exceptional communication skills are essential.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop analog and DC power electronics for communications circuits.Undertake the initial assignment of developing analog and DC power for next-generation infrastructure products.Support field and factory issues related to analog and DC power on legacy products.Collaborate with power electronics and mechanical engineers to achieve project objectives.Conduct in-depth data evaluations to analyze complex issues and develop effective resolutions.Manage and meet project timelines and constraints, with efforts typically lasting 6 to 12 months. Main Responsibilities:Change a design of discrete switch mode power supply circuit to a PMIC in Cadence schematic capture and then once the modem is built, certify the design change by testing the changes per the test plan created by the client Power architect. This is required for 3 different PCB’s.Specific Knowledge/Skills:Strong experience with power electronics circuits or analog circuits.Proficiency in schematic capture and high-speed PCB layout best practices.Demonstrated experience in product development and pre-compliance testing.Expertise in working in cross-functional teams.Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Experience in selecting appropriate topologies for various applications.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.4 - 7 years of relevant experience.Required Experience Level: Mid-level,The candidate must have enough technical knowledge in switch mode power supplies to work independently with only some guidance from the client mentor. Must-Have Qualifications:Knowledge of switch mode power supplies in a buck configuration.Able to operate an oscilloscope to take transient measurements.Excellent communication skills as the candidate will work closely with the client engineering team.Nice-to-Have Skills:LT Spice simulation capability to model switch mode power supply transient performance.
