Technician I (Electrician Maintenance I)Upkeep of machines and equipment use in pipe manufacturing. Ordered parts for broken equipment and supplies for the preventative maintenance. We did daily checks on all equipment and filters in the entire plant. Diagnosed broke equipment electrical and mechanical. Also kept the management and supervisors informed of what was wrong and a update on the repairs. Also did on call. Also would take samples of the oil in the equipment to be sent off to be analyzed. This helped determine when the oil in the extruders needed to be replaced. We did daily monthly and yearly preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities. We also made things to add to equipment to help make things easier and run betterNotes:Night shift position: 7pm - 7am - 12 hour shifts 5 day per week on site, potential for OT and call outs
