Electrical assembly Supervisor for High Voltage equipment

A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)
Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians and installers to wire and pressure rise High Voltage GIS equipment. Interpreting and analyzing technical drawings to understand installation process and procedure. Keeping a safe and clean installation environment following the client installation guidelines to ensure high quality standards. Precise wiring and pressure rising of High Voltage GIS equipment which requires strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Emphasizing teamwork, following instructions and completing tasks as assigned by a supervisor or team leader.

How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)
Electrical Supervisor which plays a pivotal role in the wiring and pressure rising of High Voltage GIS equipment
Management of union contractor’s resources, motivating, directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job
Active following the lead of wiring/installation processes, procedures, timelines and given schedules
Judgment and Decision of wiring/installation processes, considering relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one

What You Bring (requirements)

Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, equivalent degree or work experience of 3 to 5 years excepted
Education or Training in reading technical drawings
Supervision experience preferred
Electrical field and hands on experience
emphasizing working in a team and following directions
Electrical knowledge of electrical tools and Electrical Measurement Tools
English language, knowledge of technical vocabulary and fluid speaking and writing of the English language
Self-motivated to learn, acquire knowledge and self-study
Integrate into an existing team and adapt to processes
The position is based in Spotswood, NJ
