Description:Electronics Hardware Design EngineerParticipates in the development of electronic hardware for embedded controllers and input / output devices used in industrial control products.the engineer will analyze, test, verify, troubleshoot, and support implemented electronic hardware solutions. Review and create process documents, design documents, and fault insertion test designs for automation products, supporting both existing designs (updates and redesigns) and potential new designs.The engineer works on a team that is responsible for the lifecycle of automation control equipment (PLC). Such activities include circuit design, circuit analysis, schematic entry, component selection, developing engineering specifications, PCB design, maintain manufacturability, and verification/validation through planning & testing.The engineer will collaborate with international Research & Development teams on similar products and with international factory teams during development and production phases. The position reports to the Functional Safety Engineering Project Manager and works with the team in which work is assigned under the direction of the Hardware Technical Lead Engineer.Objectives of the position.Participate in writing design documents, test procedures, fault analysis, and test reports.Analysis and design of digital and analog electronic circuits (for example, microcontrollers, transistors, comparators, operational amplifiers, logic gates, linear regulators, switching regulators).Participate in the aspects of EMI/EMC testing, analysis, and aspects of remediation techniques. Collaborate with Type testing for prompt resolution of problem reports.Perform technical analysis.Able to proficiently operate the typical electronic measurement and analysis lab equipment (for example, oscilloscope, meters, analyzers, power supplies).Create and adhere to project schedules and requirements.You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.0-5 years of direct experience in designing electronic hardware with embedded controllers, input, and output devices.Familiarity in the use of CAD tools for schematic capture. Knowledgeable in the use of circuit simulation tools (SPICE).Good work-ethic and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
