Position SummaryThe client is seeking an Electronic Technician I to support repair operations within a fast-paced electronics manufacturing and service environment. This role is responsible for diagnosing, testing, troubleshooting, and analyzing digital video recording systems, electronic assemblies, and related peripherals.The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of electronics and possess the ability to troubleshoot equipment to the assembly and sub-assembly level. This position is well suited for recent technical school graduates, entry-level technicians, or candidates with up to 3 years of electronics troubleshooting experience.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, test, and troubleshoot electronic products and systems.Perform fault isolation and identify root causes of equipment failures.Analyze electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies using established diagnostic procedures.Utilize schematics, engineering drawings, work instructions, and technical documentation.Operate industry-standard diagnostic and test equipment.Perform functional testing and verification of repaired products.Document findings and communicate technical issues to engineering and operations teams.Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures and quality standards.Meet production and quality targets while maintaining attention to detail.Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational goals.Required QualificationsEducationAssociate Degree, Technical Degree, Trade School Certification, Military Electronics Training, or equivalent hands-on electronics experience preferred.Recent technical school graduates are encouraged to apply.Experience0-3 years of electronics troubleshooting, repair, manufacturing, testing, or diagnostic experience.Experience as an Electronics Technician, Repair Technician, Test Technician, Bench Technician, Service Technician, or similar role preferred.Technical SkillsBasic understanding of analog and digital electronics.Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering documentation.
Understanding of electronic components including:Printed Circuit Boards (PCBAs)MicrocontrollersMemory devicesProgrammable logic devices (FPGAs)Low-voltage electronic circuits
