Description:Engineering Technician IThe client is seeking temporary mechanical technician staffing to fill an Engineering Technician I position in support of the High Luminosity LHC Accelerator Upgrade ProjectTechnical Skill Requirements:We are seeking a technician with experience in assembly/disassembly work and experience with hand tools. The technician will be working under the direction of engineers, scientists, and senior technicians doing work of varying degrees of precision (some high precision). The ability to read drawings, follow written assembly procedures (including data-entry of completed tasks of those procedures), use a PC with MS Word & Excel and have a minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Grinding, cutting, soldering and lifting of up to 40lbs may be required.Physical Activity and Work Conditions:The technician must have the ability to lift 40 pounds, perform repetitive lifting of moderate weight, ability to climb stairs and ladders and stand for up to 4 hours per day and be able to work with epoxies, solvents, glues and other chemicals.
