This position assists in the administration of academic tests and exams. Work with faculty to distribute the exam materials, monitor test taking to ensure fairness and integrity. Collects exams and submits to faculty or authorized administrator. Enforces test taking rules required by instructor relating to what students may or may not bring into the testing space such as technology and other personal belongings. Ensures quiet, comfortable space for test taking. Documents any observations suggesting lack of integrity to assist in student discipline process. Displays empathy and positive regard for students in stressful situations. Professional demeanor and appearance required.The Client Registrar's Office is seeking qualified candidates interested in serving as part-time, seasonal exam proctors for the final exams in May (5/7/2026-5/16/2026). A number of positions are available. Proctors are responsible for observing students taking examinations and maintaining the security and integrity of the examination process.Exam Proctor ResponsibilitiesAttend 1 Zoom training session prior to examination period (proctors will be compensated for the training).Maintain the security of all exam materials during exams.Communicates examination instructions and accommodations (if needed) to students in a clear and professional manner.Distributes, collects, and accounts for all exam materials.Monitors students throughout exams to ensure a secure testing environment and to deter academic dishonesty.Circulate quietly around the room every 15 minutes during exams to monitor student conduct.Enforce time limits & maintain integrity of exams.Checks all students out of the exam room at the conclusion of the exam period.Updates the time on the board.Completes Incident Reports, Breaks Reports, and other Reports as necessary.Shifts will be from 8:15am - 5:15pm, with the potential for some slight variation on certain days (if some students need extra time to complete exams).QualificationsRequirements/QualificationsAbility to understand and follow oral and written instructions.Ability to read and interpret written instructions and procedures and apply them.Ability to remain stationary and move around for lengthy periods, and travel to various locations around campus.
