Position Overview

Step into a role where technology meets innovation on the factory floor. The client is seeking a Factory IT/OT Support Specialist to join the team. In this dynamic position, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of both IT and operational technology (OT) systems that power manufacturing operations.

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

This opportunity blends hands-on technical support with cybersecurity awareness, giving you exposure to both office IT systems and critical shop floor technologies. You’ll work across a range of systems—from collaboration tools to industrial equipment—while partnering with global teams to maintain a secure and efficient environment.

If you enjoy solving technical challenges, working close to operations, and contributing to secure, high-performing systems, this role offers the chance to grow your expertise while making a meaningful, daily impact.

How you'll make an impact
Provide onsite support for factory IT and OT systems and users
Support collaboration tools, meeting rooms, and shared technology areas
Maintain and troubleshoot shop floor devices (scanners, kiosks, printers, MES hardware)
Execute IT/OT cybersecurity operational tasks and apply security measures
Act as first responder for cybersecurity incidents and coordinate with response teams
Monitor and report unusual OT system behavior or potential threats
Identify and protect critical factory assets through monitoring and patching
Collaborate with vendors to maintain and secure systems

Your background
Formal qualification or apprenticeship in information technology
Minimum 2 years of professional IT support experience
Familiarity with IT/OT environments or industrial systems
Strong communication skills in English and local language
Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently
Knowledge of tools such as ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, Windows, iOS, and asset management systems (ITIL preferred)

Wired infrastructure
Basic connectivity troubleshooting
The client emphasized the importance of understanding both wired and wireless environments.
