Senior IS TechnicianDutiesIT repair and maintenance. Diagnostic and repair of break/fix tickets, equipment replacement and upgrade, ticket status reportingExperience1 to 3 years of IT break/fix workSummaryWork approximately 40 hours per week and may include 10 hours with flexing to land at 40 hour. in client location. Worker will assist in running service calls and installing computer and printer hardware in the client stores. Locations to be visited will be in the local area but can include Kingston NY, Syracuse and sites in Vermont. Drive times may be an a 5 +hour Round trips. A permanent client FTS employee will provide direction and support on a daily basis. Worker must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation to drive themselves between several client locations on a daily basis. Worker will be reimbursed for miles driven on weekly expense report at Client reimbursement rate. Must have previous hardware repair experience, have ability to work on their own, lift 75lbs, work flexible hours, complete required paperwork and have excellent customer service skills. Schedule will be 40 hours per week and might include weekends and holidays as part of normal work days. This is not a “work from home” position, it requires driving to different stores throughout the day.EducationHigh school diploma or EquivalentMust Haves:-Previous Field work is a huge plus. (ex. driving site to site, managing tickets, etc.).
