Description:This position will service a geography of the client by providing excellent customer service while installing, diagnosing and solving retail equipment failures within service level agreements. This equipment includes POS (point of sale) registers, self checkout registers, thermal printers, laser printers, scanners, PCs, thin clients, phone systems, RF, networking, cabling, pharmacy, photo, client and other related computer peripherals. This Field Service Technician position involves driving between the client locations in a large geography to service and install hardware, assisting other neighboring areas with workload, working normal day shift.Duties1. Service and install computer equipment by analyzing, diagnosing and resolving problems while providing excellent customer service and meeting service level commitments.2. Adherence to all compliance processes and procedures.3. Self-manage workload, overtime, inventory and all administrative functions.4. Gain up to date knowledge of all technology, processes, policies and procedures.Experience1. Must demonstrate strong trouble shooting, analytical, and problem solving skills.2. Excellent customer service, verbal and listening communication skills.3. Proficient in using computer hardware and software applications.4. Must be self-directed with excellent follow up and organizational skills.5.
