Financial Analyst

Financial Analyst -- Provides financial planning, analysis and reporting to management for the Heart Failure (HF) business unit. Performs analysis and review of operating results. Assists with monthly financial closing activities, as well as preparing financial models, ad hoc analysis, and presentations supporting the quarterly LBE (latest best estimate) forecasting cycles.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Routinely performs financial planning and analysis activities for the HF business unit, which may include any combination of the following areas: budgeting and forecasting, monthly variance analysis, business development, gross margin, capital, headcount, and other facets of the operating expense side of the P&L.
Participates in ad hoc analysis, project consolidation, and reporting as required by finance management.
Provides routine reports to key stakeholders based on knowledge of finance systems and knowledge of the HF operating expense forecast.
Partners with cross-functional teams to consolidate month-end analysis and commentary related to the financial close cycle.
Prepares consolidated reporting, presentations, and analysis for quarterly LBE cycles.
Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
2+ years of related experience.
Previous experience working with MS Office Suite: Excel and PowerPoint; must have strong proficiency with relevant financial systems applications. SAP experience a bonus.
Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.


Notes:
100% onsite. Needs to be detail oriented and will be supporting projects administering standard costing. Manufacturing experience would be ideal but not required. Looking for SAP experience.
