The team’s primary goal is to ensure proper financial controls and improve client level financial performance.DutiesThe Financial Change Sr. Analyst will…Work under the guidance of Sr. Manager or Manager for evaluating potential financial impact of a plan design changeCoordinate with a variety of internal partners to thoroughly understand the requested change and client intent, and to subsequently calculate potential impacts to future utilization and earning abilityUse existing Excel model and SAS code to model projected rebate guarantee impact analysisPerform quality checks and ad-hoc analyses in Excel and SQLProvide consultative support to internal stakeholders on analysis including, but not limited to, Sales, Underwriting, Product, and Analytic Consulting ServicesThis individual will be responsible for articulating the strategy and results of their analyses in a clear, concise manner and meeting the expected deadlines of requested analysisSupport the development of new tools and processes via user acceptance testingExperience:Required Qualifications:2 + years professional experience in data analytics, finance, pricing or process improvement role or equivalent combination of professional experience and educationOR1+ years professional experience in data analytics, finance, pricing, or process improvement role including 1+ year working with PBM data or PBM financial analysisPreferred Qualifications:Strong analysis skills using Microsoft Excel and SQLAttention to detailStrong organizational, multi-tasking and critical thinking skillsHigh motivation to question, research, problem-solve, and document processesFlexibility to pivot and quickly learn new concepts and processes to handle a constant flow of new products and strategies being developed across the organizationAbility to communicate cross-functionally to describe strategy and results in clear and respectful mannerAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines and competing prioritiesAbility to interact with others in a collegial and professional manner and help foster teamwork and knowledge sharingPrior experience working across many different groups within an organizationPrior experience or knowledge of PBM industry or pharmaceuticals is preferredEducation:Bachelor’s degree requiredDegree related to finance, mathematics, operations, statistics, actuarial science, data science, economics or other data related fields preferredMust Haves:Strong Excel and MS Suite SkillsProblem solving ability with motivation to research nuanced questionsDetail orientatedStrong written communication skillsPBM Experience Strongly Preferred
