Position Summary:
Create, design and facilitate various materials for print and digital collateral; ensuring projects are completed with high quality and on schedule.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Responsible for the technical aspects of properly loading, converting, troubleshooting, proofing and optimizing artwork for hard copy output
Create and complete finished electronic pre- and post-press production of graphic design materials; such as, but not limited to, full price and sale store signage, print pieces and marketing materials
Complete graphic projects incorporating images (logos, product images, etc.) to create advertising/marketing materials, making edits/corrections, generating final hard copy and proofing for accuracy, color and quality
Manage problem solving for proper file preparation, font replication, color breaks, bitmap densities/enlargement, and conversion of art images
Handle customer service requests, workflow documentation, file management and archiving, job tracking/invoicing
Assure that all products delivered are in compliance with ABC laws and company guidelines
Assist with graphics production including substrate loading, pre-flight, scanning, optimizing, outputting, finishing tasks, and proofing artwork
Other projects or duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma/GED and 4+ years of related experience, including freelance experience
Knowledge and ease of use for MS Office Suite and graphics software (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat); ONYX Poster Shop a plus
Proficient with PCs and MACs, file hierarchy, naming conventions, file types/formats and conversion factors (raster to vector; bitmap to GIF, TIF, PNG, etc.).
Use of various office machines/digital output devices such as cameras, scanners, etc
Positive, professional demeanor, with excellent reliability and communication skills
Ability to effectively work independently, as well as a team contributor
This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Working knowledge of large format digital printing
