Job Description:Working within the Plans Branch and with the guidance of the Plans Branch Manager, this role assumes the responsibility of leading projects related to the State Hazard Mitigation Plan and local and Tribal Hazard Mitigation Planning. It involves tackling challenging tasks in collaboration with a team of professional planners. The role includes facilitating meetings with stakeholders and coordinating various activities to ensure the timely completion of annual updates to the State Hazard Mitigation Plan and local and Tribal Hazard Mitigation Plans. Additionally, the position involves staying informed about federal policies, directives, goals, and frameworks to assess their impact on essential emergency management planning documentation.
