Scope of the project:IT Support of health care-related technology for the client. Support the Electronic Health Records System, Lab Information System, client system, Pharmacy Information System, and all related interfaces and health care technologies.Daily Duties / Responsibilities:Supports the implementation process, including build, testing, and go-live of healthcare applications and technologies, such as the EHR, lab, client system, pharmacy, and related systems, in conjunction with vendors, clinical, and technical support staff.Assists with the maintenance of the health IT infrastructure, including applications, databases, templates, and reporting.Help with troubleshooting, triage, escalation, and provide root cause analysis for EMR-related issues.Helps create reports for management and users.Helps document the current workflow process for medical and mental health care providers.Required Skills (rank in order of Importance):7+ Years of Experience with Electronic medical records (EMR), preferably NextGen7+ Years of Experience with Mirth Lab Systems7+ Years of Experience EMR Integration7+ Years of Experience with Interoperability and Data Transfer7+ Years of Experience with Healthcare IT OperationsExperience working directly for a State Government AgencyPreferred Skills (rank in order of Importance):Experience with HL7 MessagingExperience with FHIRRequired Education/Certifications: A bachelor's, degree in business administration, computer science,mathematics, statistics, information science, health administration, biological science, or a related field, and experience in health services, project management, and information technology.Preferred Education/Certifications:NextGen Connect CertificateEHR CertificatePractice Management CertificateNotes:100% Remote
