HR Coordinator • Handle client/consultant complaints or respond to legal actions• Prepare employment letters and employment verifications• Negotiate contracts with consultants & subcontractors• Handle escalated issues from the HR/Onboarding Team• Handle all Workers’ Compensation claims from management and billable staff • Manage Worker's Compensation, unemployment and other claims with agencies and attorneys • Ensure all personnel files are properly maintained• Advise management of new employment laws and help implement the same• Handle Record-keeping requirements and internal audits for EEO, OFCCP, ICRA, FMLA, ADA and FLSA compliance• Assist management in external audits for EEO, OFCCP, ICRA, FMLA, ADA, FLSA and USCIS• Address HR related queries from employees• Employee counseling and address disciplinary matters• Handle employment terminations• Assist in annual review and renewal of health insurance, business insurance and other corporate matters• Assist in recruiting of office management, payroll and delivery staff and manage their HR activities• Review new client contracts/MSA/addendums and create/update onboarding checklists• Work along with Directors and Management to ensure Onboarding compliance• Manage the inventory of equipment that are lent to consultants• Provide assistance to immigration team as and when needed• Register with university career services for recruitment purposes• Assist management staff and offshore team on any tasks assignedVIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
