Description.As a HR Manager you will work with a team and be responsible for the following:Ensure On-boarding paperwork - For W2s, 1099 and sub-contractors are sent promptly and are completed correctlySupervise daily activities of HR Assistants/ Specialists and make sure there are no pending tasksAssist HR Assistant/ Specialists to send onboarding paperwork and initiate BG checks based on volumeHandle escalated issues from the HR TeamBackup for onboarding team members during their absenceSet up BG drug test with third party agencies as neededNegotiate contracts with consultants & subcontractorsCheck each onboarding consultant file for accuracy and clear to startSend pre/post adverse lettersPrepare client audit responses and send to Account Managers to submitHandle client complaints or respond to legal actionsPrepare employment letters and employment verificationsHandle all Workers’ Compensation claims from management and billable staffManage Worker's Compensation, unemployment and other claims with agencies and attorneysEnsure all personnel files are properly maintainedHandle Record-keeping requirements and internal audits for EEO, OFCCP, ICRA, FMLA, ADA and FLSA complianceAssist management in external audits for EEO, OFCCP, ICRA, FMLA, ADA, FLSA and USCISAddress HR related queries from employeesEmployee counseling and address disciplinary mattersHandle employment terminationsReview new client contracts/MSA/addendums and create/update onboarding checklistsWork along with Directors and Management to ensure Onboarding complianceManage the inventory of equipment that are lent to consultantsProvide assistance to immigration team as and when neededAssist management staff and offshore team on any tasks assigned Required skills/experience:Minimum 6 years of experience in employee onboarding and handling employee relationsExperience in leading a team and working with multiple teamsExperience with remote communication toolsPHR certification is preferredGood knowledge of employment laws and practicesStrong working knowledge of MS officeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience in the staffing industry is highly preferredVIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
