Description.

As a HR Manager you will work with a team and be responsible for the following:

Ensure On-boarding paperwork - For W2s, 1099 and sub-contractors are sent promptly and are completed correctly
Supervise daily activities of HR Assistants/ Specialists and make sure there are no pending tasks
Assist HR Assistant/ Specialists to send onboarding paperwork and initiate BG checks based on volume
Handle escalated issues from the HR Team
Backup for onboarding team members during their absence
Set up BG drug test with third party agencies as needed
Negotiate contracts with consultants & subcontractors
Check each onboarding consultant file for accuracy and clear to start
Send pre/post adverse letters
Prepare client audit responses and send to Account Managers to submit
Handle client complaints or respond to legal actions
Prepare employment letters and employment verifications
Handle all Workers’ Compensation claims from management and billable staff
Manage Worker's Compensation, unemployment and other claims with agencies and attorneys
Ensure all personnel files are properly maintained
Handle Record-keeping requirements and internal audits for EEO, OFCCP, ICRA, FMLA, ADA and FLSA compliance
Assist management in external audits for EEO, OFCCP, ICRA, FMLA, ADA, FLSA and USCIS
Address HR related queries from employees
Employee counseling and address disciplinary matters
Handle employment terminations
Review new client contracts/MSA/addendums and create/update onboarding checklists
Work along with Directors and Management to ensure Onboarding compliance
Manage the inventory of equipment that are lent to consultants
Provide assistance to immigration team as and when needed
Assist management staff and offshore team on any tasks assigned

Required skills/experience:

Minimum 6 years of experience in employee onboarding and handling employee relations
Experience in leading a team and working with multiple teams
Experience with remote communication tools
PHR certification is preferred
Good knowledge of employment laws and practices
Strong working knowledge of MS office
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in the staffing industry is highly preferred
