Job Description


This position administers and provides oversight for multiple Coordination Programs within the Hunger Relief Program.
The position works closely with senior management and other internal departments to ensure initiatives are in compliance with federal regulations, state laws and administrative rules. Conducts analysis, develops and makes recommendations, implements and monitors process improvements that will benefit the client and its customer base.

Responsibilities also include development and authorship of client and Project Plans to include Initiatives for the various coordination programs.
The plans include evaluation, project design, data compilation, review and approval of budget narratives.
Develop and implement policies and procedures and conducts monitoring and evaluation to ensure compliance for various State and Project Plans.
Develops and conducts ongoing statewide trainings on programmatic requirements in support of the various coordination programs.
Reviews, assesses and approves budgets, scopes of work and budget expenditures for compliance with client OMB circulars for reasonable and allowable costs.
Approves monthly invoices/expenditures for contractors and sub-recipients to ensure accuracy and determination of allowable expenditures.
Develop and prepare data analytical reports.
Serves as backup to the Hunger Relief Program Manager.

Required Skills

2 years of experience related to federal programming (e.g., aging, hunger, homelessness, domestic violence, refugee, or community action) OR 1 year as a Prog Spct or 2 years as a Prog Proj Spct 2 working in programmatic implementation in AZ state gov't.; OR 1 year as a Human Svc Prog Dev Spct or 2 years as a Human Svc Unit Spvr in AZ state gov't
Bachelor's Degree
