Position Overview

Job Summary
Seeking an experienced PHP Web Application Developer with IBM iSeries experience to maintain, enhance, integrate, and support web applications associated with client services systems.
The client's IBM iSeries environment includes websites used for ordering services, along with order-entry/billing systems and integrations with central client applications.

Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance PHP-based web applications.
Support web applications integrated with IBM iSeries backend systems.
Maintain and enhance web-based ordering functionality.
Develop interfaces between web applications and IBM iSeries applications.
Gather and analyze requirements directly from business customers.
Translate business requirements into application solutions.
Support systems involving order entry, inventory, billing, payments, and reconciliation.
Support integration with central client systems.
Troubleshoot web application, backend, and integration issues.
Perform application testing, debugging, implementation, and production support.
Collaborate with RPG/CL programmers and other technical personnel.
Work effectively in situations where detailed programming specifications may not be available.
Rapidly learn client services applications and business processes.
