Implementation Consultant
BASIC FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for leading client focused implementations of accounts and legislative and regulatory initiatives within sales operations and product. Implements account and legislative initiatives (of high complexity), monitors compliance and conformity of implementations. Forms key partnerships with other client business areas, and work to coordinate the implementations response required to support the solution. Work with all business areas that impact the client experience while planning the implementation, developing the business cases, and actively driving the identification of opportunities for improving efficiencies and process within the implementation experience and implementing those solutions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Lead all activities of the account, product and legislative implementation. Implementation support includes, but not limited to, coordination of industry and client process change reviews/comments, tracking and monitoring of compliance implementation progress within sales operations, business case development for new implementations, meeting preparation and documentation, application of assessment and analysis results to implementation approaches and solutions, and process documentation development and review.
2. Lead one-on-one and in group settings with departmental/inter-departmental team members to identify issues, gather data, brainstorm, prioritize, discuss analytic approach, and share findings. Leads the creation of the implementation scope and strategy, including creation of complex project plans and business plans as applicable.
3. Manage projects and resources, form and maintain key partnerships with other/related client business areas.
4. Implementation subject matter expert to internal and external customers.
5. Proactively communicate with team, management, and key stakeholders offering multiple resolutions to known issues and/or real-time situation updates on sensitive project deliverables and status.
6. Ensures that reports and presentations to support the overall delivery and execution of client, business and operational requirements are created.
7. Ensures that appropriate materials raising awareness, providing education and training, and delivering recommendations are prepared and delivered to appropriate account executives, clients management as needed.
8. Consult, communicate and interact professionally and effectively with co-workers, management, and customers.
9. Accompany account executives on service calls to explain benefit options, product features, and/or legislation issues, assist in open enrollment, etc. Perform related duties as required

11. Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.
12. Maintain complete confidentiality of company business.
13. Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor degree and 5 years of experience in business or project management experience
Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing or another related field.
Fortune 500, Consulting, or other applicable enterprise implementation experience.
Knowledge of health care regulatory and legislative process, healthcare market and products and corporate operations.
Knowledge of product, marketing, sales, and claims adjudication.
Clear and concise written, presentation, verbal and interpersonal communication skills in order to work across various departments with various levels of management handling sensitive or difficult situations as well as develop and deliver formal training to internal and external customers.
Experience serving as a thought leader in enterprise implementations. Extensive experience leading cross-functional workgroups.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Financial and budget management experience as it relates to projects, implementations, and/or operations.
Capable of working independently and in group settings with ability to respond to rapidly changing priorities.
Identifying complex risks and issues, risk mitigation, and issue resolution, including working and negotiating with Legal and/or the Regulatory Oversight Office as applicable.
Conflict management and resolution skills.
Flexible and responsive, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.
Takes initiative /supervisory role in driving results with ability to meet deadlines.
Analytical skills and experience applying business knowledge to solve problems
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Experience managing the client implementation experience
Master Degree in Business, Marketing or another related field.
Knowledge of healthcare marketplace trends related to product, service and economy.
Knowledge of state and federal legislature processes, including the interaction of client Government Affairs with lobbyists.
