Description:Industrial EngineerResponsibility is to support Engineering projects developing technical drawings that help translate engineering and architectural designs into detailed plans used in building products and structures.Their day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with engineers and other professionals to clarify design specifications, layout updates using AUTOCAD software, place and follow up purchase orders for new tooling and equipment to produce drawings and checking design drawings to verify they’re accurate and meet industry standards.Need candidates who have worked in a Manufacturing environment.We are looking for at least 3 years of experience and preferably, but not required in Automotive/Truck industry.Engineering degree is a must and Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing would be strongly preferredRequirements and other responsibilities:Extensive working knowledge of AUTOCAD software, 2D AND 3d, to be able to prepare technical drawings efficientlyAbility to analyze design sketches and specifications to create technical drawingsStrong attention to detail to ensure drawings are accurate according to specificationsCommunication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with architects, engineers and other professionalsTime management skills to work with multiple projects and competing deadlinesKnowledge of engineering practices and industry standardsAdvanced mathematical skillsability to perform physical measurements to create layouts as requiredCoordinate multidisciplinary projects review between departments and other stakeholdersCreate and follow up problem follow up sheets to monitor and guide completion of activitiesExperience with manufacturing tools and equipment to be able to support prototype pilot build constructionsAvailability to work OT and / or Weekends as required per project deliverablesKnowledge of MS office to be perform analysis and prepare executive presentationsPrevious manufacturing Automotive/Truck Industry experience is a plusBilingual English / Spanish is a plusMust Haves:AUTOCAD Experience (2D and 3D layouts)Manufacturing Experience (Line balance, PFMEA, process mapping, Standard work, etc.)Mfg.
