Description:

Responsibilities / Tasks of the Role:
Reduction of non-conformances through proactive process surveillance, product inspection and reporting.
Identify, assess and communicate process deviations and non-conformances and work with production and engineering teams to implement corrective actions
Assist Engineering and Manufacturing/Assembly to properly disposition parts running through the Material Review Board Process
Work with Engineering and shop floor personnel to determine rework of non-conforming products
Reporting daily internal & external defects to the team and help identify root causes.
Assist in implementation and maintenance of 6S and MRB best practices
Ensure adherence to safety protocols during inspections to promote a secure workplace for all personnel
Other Supporting QC activities
Inspecting packaging methods needed per customer & internal requirements to mitigate customer receipt of damaged parts/valves.
Inspecting warehouse picking accuracy, by confirming part number and quantities
Working with the QC final inspection areas to ensure timely delivery of scheduled shipments.
Valve Knowlege, Dimensional experience

Essential Requirements of the role:
Be results driven with a keen eye for detail
Good communication skills.
Ability to read drawings and understand GD&T
Understanding of machinist handbook (ASME, ASTM, ISO17025)
Working knowledge of valves and actuation
Knowledge in dimensional testing and manufacturing
Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent.
1+ years related experience.

Education Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent

Tools or Software:
SAP a plus

Industry Background or Experience:
any GD&T experience is important (dimensional drawings)

Notes:
7am - 3:30pm Monday through Friday. OT available on Saturday if needed

Training provided: training on jib training and standard safety training
