Description:Instructor II - MarketingAs an Instructor you will focus on delivering instructor led classroom, lab, in-field and virtual product training to dealers, company employees, and customers.In addition, you will:Deliver technical classroom/lab and in-field training - adapting content, training materials, and activities for each class to increase dealership and employee capabilities to diagnose, optimize, sell, or manage various Ag & Turf equipmentTraining programs include, but are not limited to products, services, and/or professional skills with heavy emphasis on product features, applications, and product system technologies.Be responsible for lab/field/classroom setup, execution, and tear-down of each training evento Instructor will present PowerPoint instruction in the classroom and lab activity to diagnose and fix a machine bug for example. Classes are typically 2 days long with 2 classes taught per week. Students are technicians from dealerships throughout the country.Monitor course effectiveness using Net Promoter Score dataDevelop strong relationships with dealers, certified dealer instructors, and field teams to promote and fill classes; ensuring highest priority training needs are being offeredResearch training topics to increase subject matter expertise specific to product, machine systems, professional skills, and product applications.Work with the platforms & training development to develop & update course materialsWhat Skills You Need;Experience in a training and development areas such as instruction, needs assessments, curriculum development, presentation skills, adult learning theory, and other such related training and development work.Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office as well as department-specific computer programs (i.e ServiceAdvisor 5, CCMS)Demonstrated professional communication skills with proven results both written and verbalDemonstrated commitment to lifelong learning with the ability to understand complex systemsAbility to travel domestically up to 25%What Makes You Stand Out;Strong knowledge of Agriculture equipment and/or precision technology1 or more years of Field experience with regular customer contact, knowledge of dealer/distribution network, and broad product knowledge1 or more years of factory experience interfacing with design, engineering, and manufacturing3 or more years as a Field Service Technician3 or more years as an Agronomist1 or more years as a Service ManagerEducation;Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: Bachelors degree in an Education discipline or Agriculture (AgriBusiness, Communication, Ag Ed, etc.)Strong candidates are recent graduates with Ag degree and technicians from dealershipsSpecific Position RequirementsTop Must Haves:o Strong knowledge of Agriculture equipment and/or precision technologyo Demonstrated professional communication skills with proven results both written and verbalo Demonstrated commitment to lifelong learning with the ability to understand complex systemsNotes:Onsite, but some domestic travel will be required to support other training centers or events.Valid driver’s license required – will need to be able to travel by plane to locations across the US and rent a car.Typical hours are M-F 7:30am-4:30pm.Driving farm Machinery and a forklift.
