Description:

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory movements, managing flows both internally (between warehouse and different work centers) and with outside vendors. This role analyzes data through various methods (SAP queries, SQL) to drive operational excellence in the domain. The Analyst leads by data analysis and setting standards, streamlining processes, and strictly controlling that all movements in SAP are made per defined procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational Oversight & Compliance
Oversee and monitor the flow of materials to and from various work sites, departments, and external vendors.
Control and validate that all inventory movements in SAP are executed according to defined standard operating procedures.
Responsible for identifying, classifying, and finding the root cause of inventory inaccuracies, traceability issues, and discrepancies.
Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position.

Data Analysis & Process Improvement
Utilize advanced data analysis methods, including SAP queries and SQL, to monitor inventory health and identify trends.
Drive operational excellence by analyzing data to streamline inventory processes and eliminate manufacturing downtime associated with the assigned area.
Give feedback and possible solutions to the manager for eliminating discrepancies and preventing future errors.
Responsible for setting up and maintaining inventory data standards and KPIs.

Coordination & Auditing
Coordinate with outside vendors to ensure accuracy of external inventory movements and data synchronization.
Responsible for coordinating and conducting cycle count completion and reconciliation.
Coordinate Physical Count (Cycle Counts and/or Annual Physical Inventory) activities and help facilitate audits.
Maintain ownership of digital inventory accuracy to ensure it is kept up to date.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree required in Supply Chain, Inventory, or Warehouse Management.
3+ years of experience in an inventory analysis or supply chain role.
Experience with SQL and database management is required.
SAP experience required.
Experience leading by data analysis and setting operational standards.
Previous experience in a production-based organization or high-pace shipping environment is preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
High computer acumen with the ability to coordinate several requests online and run complex transactions.
Advanced proficiency in SAP and Excel/Google Sheet; ability to write and run SQL queries or other data analysis language.
Strong attention to detail with POs, lot numbers, and data integrity.
Ability to define processes and lead implementation of 5S standards.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with warehouse personnel and management.
