Description:Inventory AnalystImplements inventory audits and other related inventory transactions to measure accuracy. Compiles inventory audit requirements with client and other companies. Works out reports of inventory. Supervises/Work Directs salary and/or wage personnel (Cycle Counters, lower level Inventory Analyst). Duties: Monitors and coordinates various manufacturing and/or materials processes to insure they are functional designed, e.g. Return Goods Authorization (RGA) Process, cycle counting process or disposition of excess material. Works to resolve inventory related questions and issues e.g. participating in factory teams to improve inventory turns and accuracy. Coordinates and analyzes daily, monthly and/or annual inventory audits, e.g. engine audits or audits to test the financial accuracy. Prepares and reviews various perpetual inventory reports. You will collaborate cross-functionally with materials management, manufacturing engineering, and auditing teams to proactively manage inventory processes and resolve discrepancies.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate material processes to ensure alignment between system and physical inventoryConduct root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actionsPartner with Manufacturing Engineers and clientAuditors to maintain point-of-use inventory accuracyReconcile inventory variances and develop preventive measures to avoid recurrenceSupport monthly and annual financial inventory auditsRequired Qualifications:Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyPreferred Qualifications:Experience with SAPIn-depth understanding of material flow processesBackground in inventory managementEducation:Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant work experienceNotes:Work Hours: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday with minimal overtime.Business casual dress code.Candidates will need metatarsal protection for the first day.This position has the potential of driving a client-owned Gator on the shop floor after successful training completion.Some travel between client sites for monthly meetings utilizing a personal vehicle should be expected.VIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
