Position Overview


Description:

This position is responsible for conducting cycle counts and audits, maintaining inventory accuracy by performing bin checks, assisting in investigation and reconciling inventory discrepancies to provide a reliable inventory balance.

Responsibilities:

Reconcile inventory discrepancies in the ERP system.
Investigate variances by working closely with multiple users and analyzing inventory movements in the system
Create weekly reports to business and senior managements
Consistently follow all warehouse procedures.
Support production escalations for inventory variances
Support shipping activities in month ends and quarter ends, overtime may be expected

Requirements:

Relevant education and/or work experience required (i.e., receiving, warehousing, and inventory).
Strong attention to detail skills.
Strong critical thinking skills.
Team player, positive attitude.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
ERP or inventory systems experience, Oracle is an asset.
Microsoft Excel (vlookup, match, pivot tables) and PowerPoint

Physical Requirements:
Must be comfortable performing physical work.


Main Responsibilities: 
Reconcile inventory discrepancies in ERP systems
Analyze inventory variances with cross-functional teams
Generate weekly reports for business and senior management
Follow warehouse procedures consistently
Support production during inventory escalations
Assist with shipping during month/quarter-end (overtime expected)

Must-Have Qualifications:

Prior counting experience, self-disciplined, honest, excel, computer literacy.

Software Proficiency:


Microsoft Excel (vlookup, match, pivot tables) and PowerPoint



Notes:

Work Schedule: Tentatively 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
Work Location: 100% Onsite

This is a contract role with the possibility of conversion to full-time based on business needs and performance
