Position SummaryThe client is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist II to support inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and production continuity within the Video Repair Operations team.This position is responsible for performing advanced inventory control activities, investigating inventory discrepancies, reconciling inventory transactions, supporting cycle count programs, and partnering with operations teams to ensure inventory integrity throughout the repair and refurbishment process.The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, inventory management experience, and a proven track record of maintaining inventory accuracy in a manufacturing, repair, distribution, or production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct cycle counts, inventory audits, and location accuracy reviews.Research and reconcile inventory discrepancies within ERP systems.Analyze inventory transactions and identify root causes of inventory variances.Investigate inventory issues affecting production and implement corrective actions.Monitor inventory accuracy and identify opportunities for process improvements.Support production escalations related to inventory shortages or discrepancies.Generate inventory metrics, variance reports, and management reporting.Work cross-functionally with Operations, Production, Shipping, Receiving, Quality, and Finance teams.Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures and warehouse processes.Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end inventory activities.Support material movement and inventory-related activities during peak business periods.Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced inventory team members when needed.Required QualificationsExperience3+ years of inventory control, inventory management, warehouse operations, or manufacturing inventory experience.Experience conducting cycle counts and inventory audits.Proven experience investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.Experience supporting inventory operations within a manufacturing, production, repair, service, or distribution environment.Technical SkillsStrong understanding of inventory control principles and inventory accuracy processes.Experience with ERP systems and inventory transaction management.Ability to analyze inventory movement and determine root causes of discrepancies.Experience creating reports and presenting findings to management.Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.Microsoft Office SkillsCandidates should be proficient with:Microsoft ExcelPivot TablesVLOOKUP/XLOOKUPData AnalysisConditional FormattingInventory ReportingMicrosoft PowerPointMicrosoft OutlookOracle experience preferred.Preferred QualificationsInventory Control Specialist certification or related supply chain coursework.Experience in electronics manufacturing, repair operations, depot services, or production environments.Experience supporting inventory improvement projects.Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience.Preferred Candidate ProfileThe client is seeking candidates who:Have experience maintaining inventory accuracy in a fast-paced environment.Can independently investigate complex inventory discrepancies.Are highly organized and detail-oriented.Demonstrate strong accountability and integrity.Have strong communication skills and can work effectively across departments.Possess stable work history and proven reliability.Thrive in both hands-on and analytical inventory responsibilities.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to work in a production and warehouse environment.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move materials throughout the facility.Notes:100% OnsiteWork Schedule: Monday-Friday, overtime as neededHours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (subject to business needs)This is a contract role with the possibility of conversion to full-time based on business needs and performance
