Job Description

Description:

Role Overview:

This position involves managing and executing IT projects within a defined scope. The individual will collaborate with both business and IT leadership to establish goals, objectives, and deliverables. Responsibilities include tracking project performance against plans and budgets, coordinating team resources, assigning tasks based on skillsets, and ensuring compliance with corporate/divisional policies.

The role functions as a hybrid between Project Manager (PM) and Business Analyst (BA), requiring strong experience in either discipline—ideally both. It is not a technical implementation PM role and does not require engineering or Scrum Master skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and execute IT projects, including infrastructure and large-scale deployments.

Evaluate scope changes, risks, and issues; work with stakeholders to resolve them.

Develop work plans, secure resources, and ensure timely task completion.

Provide regular project status updates and decision-support reports.

Gather lessons learned and obtain final approvals from sponsors/stakeholders.

Support larger projects or assist other project managers as needed.

Make decisions impacting project-level activities and budgets.

Perform business analysis, particularly in process analysis and solution-oriented tasks.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, English, Social Sciences, or a related field.

10–15 years of experience in project management, business analysis, or software development.

Experience in the medical device industry is helpful but not required.

Top Skills:

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Effective communication and conflict resolution abilities.

Proven experience delivering large IT projects.

Additional Insights:

The role is highly collaborative and cross-functional.
