IDEAL CANDIDATES:

Past experience in either:

  • Recent large-scale website design/redesign experience with upgrades or conversions, or:
  • Recent large-scale constituent or customer management systems experience with managing the creation, upgrade, or conversion, or:
  • Recent large-scale time tracking experience with managing the creation, upgrade, or conversion, or:
  • Recent large-scale experience managing the implementation or remediation of security tools, or:
  • Recent large-scale experience working with mobile device management

  • Ability to influence stakeholders and manage conflict.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), or other project management certifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adherence to the Governance process by engaging stakeholders, preparing status reports, and conducting executive briefings.
  • Conduct project planning exercises to successfully deliver the project.
  • Vendor Management tasks including deliverable acceptance, milestone payment, contract adherence, and escalations.
  • Budget Management and tracking.
  • Create, track, and deliver project timelines, tasks, and metrics.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Seven (7) years as project lead with experience in technology projects involving multiple computer subsystems.
  • Recent large-scale website design/redesign experience with upgrades or conversion.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems or a related field.
  • Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.
  • Ability to be on-site as required by the project needs and project team activities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

The minimum qualifications listed above, plus:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), or other project management certifications.
  • Master’s degree in business/Public Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience in IT program or project management?
  • Experience leading IT project management teams
  • Experience with vendor management
  • Experience with software implementation/upgrade
  • Experience working with, or for, public sector organizations
  • Experience with project and portfolio management tools
  • Excellent customer service and business relationship communication skills

Work is typically weekdays 8-5; could be nights/weekends (e.g., go-live)
