Description of Project

Job Application Process Product Transformation

The client is seeks a consultant team to provide services for the transformation and improvement of the client job application process to a product model.
The client is looking for a vendor to define the job application process product, develop personas, create value and journey maps, engage with customers, generate a product roadmap, create a product backlog, and make recommendations for technical tools.

These categories will be used for cost scoring purposes and are not meant to be an all-inclusive list of the services potentially needed for this scope of work.
Specific skill categories will be discussed with the awarded vendor at the time of contract negotiations.

Deliverable #1: Product Definition

Define the job application process product
Define business processes and deliverables as part of product
Define technical tools and deliverables as part of product
Define and set up cross functional perpetual product team
Provide recommendations for organizing the client talent and skills to increase maturity, innovation, and support broadening capabilities.
Present key findings and short-term recommendations for consideration in existing systems and operational processes.

Deliverable #2: Customer Experience and Customer Engagement Campaign
Develop product value proposition
Develop value stream map
Develop customer personas
Develop customer journey map
Develop and conduct a customer engagement campaign to solicit feedback on current job application process and future client.
Listening Sessions/Focus Groups
Other engagement methods as appropriate
Summary of customer experience data
Fit-gap analysis for current system to customer needs
Present key findings and short-term recommendations for consideration in existing systems and operational processes.

Deliverable #3: Product Roadmap and Backlog

Create a long-term product strategy and roadmap for the job application process
Provide recommendations for new technical tools or updates to existing technical tools, including technology investments required
Roadmap should be structured for early and continual successes while maintaining movement toward robust capabilities aligned with customer needs, financial resources, and staff availability.
Create a product backlog for the team to begin working on
Present strategy and roadmap for key groups of stakeholders

Potential Subsequent Phase(s) - Continued Product Transformation

May include additional services pertaining to continued product transformation in this and other business areas.

Desired Qualifications

The client are seeking a vendor who has:

Project resources possessing Scrum Alliance Certification CSM, CSPO, or similar
Extensive experience in providing independent assessments
Proven history of creating successful transformation and product roadmaps for complex organizations
Extensive experience and proven success in customer engagement, value stream mapping, and customer journey mapping
Demonstrated knowledge of and extensive experience with product based agile operating models
Proven history of success in guiding organizational change
Experience working with government organizations
Extensive knowledge of and experience with the ERP systems market for candidate recruitment and selection

Note :

Most work is expected to be done remotely via Microsoft Teams or WebEx.
Some onsite work may be needed to complete the customer engagement campaign, as per the awarded vendor’s project plan and proposed customer engagements.
