Job Description


The Opportunity:
Embark on a rotational Finance role in FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) supporting client’s Corporate functions. Learn and execute financial processes and activities as well as analytics to support strategic business decisions.

What You’ll Work On:
Learn key financial processes and activities, including budgeting, analytics, business support and general accounting. Includes training on SAP Financial modules and Oracle/Hyperion planning systems.
Serves as a finance partner for one or several Corporate functions: Business Solutions and Technology/IT, Engineering, Legal, Procurement or Finance.
Leveraging client Shared Services organization, executes monthly close activities, provides clear and meaningful financial reporting and commentary. Ensures compliance and champions internal controls and procedures.
Develops forecasts and prepares supporting analytics and review materials for presentation to business partners and Finance leaders. Helps to manage risks and opportunities through the use of external and internal signals and data.
Partners with the business and finance manager to review and analyze projects. Assists with preparation and review of Requests for Capital Expenditure (RCEs). Provides analytical support for contract negotiations.
Participates in the consolidation of financial results and forecasts for part or all of a Corporate function. Assists manager with ad-hoc analysis and preparation of review materials for presentation to Business and Finance leaders.
Offer ideas and recommendations for continuous improvements and simplifications in financial and business processes.
Actively promotes positive team environment. Participates in talent development opportunities including training and mentoring. Prioritizes self-development and continuous learning.

Required Qualifications:
Degree in Finance or Accounting. Minimum of a 3.0 grade point average or equivalent.
0-2 years of experience in financial planning, analysis or accounting
Demonstrated leadership ability in organizations or activities
Proficient with financial modeling, systems, tools including Excel and PowerPoint
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact with and support business partners
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work on multiple priorities and execute in a fast-paced environment

Top 3 required skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; accounting/finance background; ability to learn systems quickly.

Top 3 preferred skills
Financial modeling; PowerPoint proficiency; strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Certifications or education requirements
Finance or Accounting degree preferred; minimum GPA 3.0 (most hires 3.4+).
Not required; entry-level role.
Primarily Excel; proprietary client tools.
Positive attitude, proactive, ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Must have accounting/finance background and Excel proficiency.

Notes:

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Onsite required; 4–5 days per week (5 days during training, then typically 4).
