Description:Position OverviewAs a Lab Assistant, you will facilitate the daily operations of the facility through assisting the production staff with administrative and housekeeping tasks which are crucial to maintain excellent customer service and site inspection readiness. This job involves working nightshift in a manufacturing setting and occupational exposure to radiation.As a Lab Assistant, you are responsible for:Ability to work independentlyAbility to read, listen and understand technical direction, policies and proceduresEffective communication skillsProven ability to work under pressureUnderstanding and awareness of radiation safety, quality, & EHS programsCommunicate routine logistical functions including preparing product for shipment, coordinating courier schedules/changes, and documenting as necessaryPackages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containersProcesses packages returned from customer locationsAssists with inventory, material storage, and check-inCleans and sanitizes delivery cases, work areas, high touch pointsPerforms general facility cleaning and other duties as requiredProvides excellent customer service by answering telephones, forwarding messages, taking messages, and tracking deliveriesAssist pharmacy personnel with clerical functionsPerforms other related duties as assigned by supervisorYou can lift up to 100LbsMust-Have Skills:1. Organization2. Attention to detail3. Time management4. Effective communication5. Ability to read, listen, and understand technical procedures6. Ability to lift to 100 lbs occasionally, most items 65-75 lbs, cases with handlesNice-to-Have Skills:1. Logistics experience2. Customer service acumen3.
