This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Laboratory Technician 2, you will be responsible for:


Supports testing on clinical analyzers to provide assistance for production support and complaint investigation which is critical to ensure the supply chain requirements.

Works with biochemists in a wide variety of routine technical assignments. You will prepare buffers and reagent formulations as necessary. Performs routine testing or investigations for raw materials or final products using various instruments.

Associates or BS in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry

Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques used in a chemistry lab (pH, pipetting, handling of chemicals);

Experience with automated immunoassay analyzers and/or ELISA and chemiluminescent technology is a plus.

Possess strong computer skills, good communication and interpersonal skills; Strong player in a team setting, be flexible and willing to learn and change.

Ability to interpret data and to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Strong work ethic, must be flexible and demonstrate the ability to switch priorities to meet business needs

Understand and comply with the Quality System Regulation and OSHA safety requirements; Requires the basic knowledge of GMP regulations (GLP and GDP); Knowledge of FDA, ISO, and IVDD


Required Technical Skills:


Software: 

SAP (trainable)

Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and strong Excel)


Experience Requirements:

Lab Experience: Required (either academic or field-based)


Desired Soft Skills:

Strong communication skills

Ability to work with diverse personalities

Retail customer service industry experience (preferred)

Attention to detail

Troubleshooting capabilities

Good judgment


Education Requirements:

Minimum: 2 years of college or Associate’s degree

Experience: 0–2 years of focused experience

Internship: manufacturing/lab internship experience acceptable

Organizational skills (data and physical supplies)

Work Schedule - Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with 1-hour lunch
