JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Administrative Temp to provide essential support to client’s Employment Practices Liability (“EPL”) Claims team. This role will assist with administrative tasks including pulling documents, processing check requests, setting up claim files, and handling other claims-related duties as assigned by the Manager, EPL Claims.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Retrieve and organize legal and claims-related documents

Prepare and process check requests in accordance with company procedures

Create and maintain claim files

Assist with management of invoices issued by outside law firms

Provide general administrative support to the EPL Claims team

Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion


JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:


Education:

Bachelor’s Degree required/preferred; or equivalent education and/or related work experience, such as paralegal certificate or administrative support position in a law office or in-house legal department


Experience:

Minimum 3 years’ experience reporting to Director Level or above as an Executive Assistant, paralegal, or administrative assistant in a fast-paced professional environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Experience with CRM systems, i.e, SalesForce, preferred

Experience with matter and document management systems, i.e. Legal Tracker and Perceptive Content, preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace

Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities

Ability to work with colleagues across multiple time zones and accommodate assignments in other time zones, as necessary


WORK ENVIRONMENT/OTHER INFORMATION (Travel required, physical requirements, on-call schedules, etc.)

Participation in conference calls, including video conferences, with flexibility in office hours to accommodate additional time
