Security Engineer
JOB SUMMARY
Logicgate Security Engineer
Role Summary
We need an experienced contractor to lead the transition of our Enterprise Incident Management (EIM) team from a legacy in-house case management system to LogicGate. This role will own the end-to-end onboarding of the EIM team into LogicGate, including requirements gathering, workflow design, platform configuration, data migration, testing, training, and go-live support.
This contractor will also partner with our Incident Response team to integrate LogicGate with Google SecOps so incident, case, and workflow data can move reliably between systems and support coordinated operational processes.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience implementing LogicGate in an enterprise environment, migrating operational data from legacy platforms, and designing secure integrations with security operations tools such as Google SecOps.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the implementation of LogicGate for the EIM team, from discovery through production rollout.
Assess the current in-house case management system and document business processes, data structures, workflows, user roles, and reporting requirements.
Design future-state workflows in LogicGate for incident intake, triage, investigation, escalation, case management, approvals, remediation tracking, and closure.
Configure LogicGate applications, forms, workflows, permissions, notifications, dashboards, and reporting to meet EIM operational needs.
Develop and execute a data migration plan from the legacy system into LogicGate, including data mapping, cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
Define and implement integration patterns between LogicGate and Google SecOps to support shared incident and case workflows.
Work with stakeholders to determine what data should sync between systems, when it should sync, and which system is authoritative for each data domain.
Build or coordinate APIs, connectors, middleware, or automation required to integrate LogicGate with Google SecOps and other supporting platforms as needed.
Implement automation for repetitive, low-severity incidents and case workflows, including Sev 4 processes, to reduce manual effort, improve response times, and increase team capacity for higher-priority work.
Establish auditability, security, access controls, and data governance practices for the new solution.
Create implementation documentation including architecture diagrams, data mapping, workflow designs, runbooks, support procedures, and admin guides.
Lead testing activities including unit testing, system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, and defect resolution.
Support change management, end-user training, and adoption planning for EIM stakeholders.
Provide hypercare and post-go-live support to stabilize the platform and workflows.
Transfer knowledge to internal teams so they can operate and enhance the solution after the engagement ends.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience delivering enterprise workflow, GRC, case management, or incident management platform implementations
Demonstrated hands-on experience implementing LogicGate in a lead consultant, architect, or administrator capacity
Experience migrating data from legacy or custom-built systems into commercial SaaS platforms
Experience designing and implementing system integrations using APIs, webhooks, ETL tools, or middleware
Experience integrating security, incident, or case management platforms with SOC or IR tooling
Strong understanding of incident management lifecycle, case workflows, and operational process design
Experience with data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation for enterprise migrations
Ability to gather requirements from technical and non-technical stakeholders and translate them into scalable workflows
Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Experience supporting testing, training, and production rollout activities
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with Google SecOps integrations, data models, and operational workflows
Experience in enterprise incident response, security operations, risk, compliance, or governance environments
Familiarity with IAM, RBAC, audit logging, and enterprise security controls
Experience in retail, large enterprise, or highly regulated environments
Experience with workflow optimization and process redesign, not just tool configuration
Relevant certifications in LogicGate, project delivery, security operations, or integration architecture

API integration design and implementation
JSON, REST APIs, webhooks, and middleware patterns
