DescriptionThe client is seeking a contract IT Low-Code / No-Code (LC/NC) Application Developer/Tester (Mendix) to support software development.The Mendix LC/NC Developer will assist in a highly visible and time-critical application development effort, leveraging the Mendix platform to rapidly deliver secure, scalable, and user-centered solutions.This is an approximately three-month contract position with possible extension.ResponsibilitiesAssist Business Analysts (BA) with requirements gathering, system design, application development, testing, and implementation using the Mendix low-code platformParticipate in design sessions and contribute to the enhancement of operational systems, business processes, and reportsAnalyze and chart existing business processes to define current-state activities for procedure and application modelingDevelop and document future-state business processes, including:Business rulesProcess flow diagramsInter-department workflowsConfigure and develop Mendix applications, including:Microflows and nanoflowsDomain modelsUI components and pagesIntegrations and data sources (as applicable)Prepare User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test cases and coordinate UAT activities with business stakeholdersPerform data validation and quality assurance activities within Mendix applicationsAssist in pre-go-live testing efforts and respond promptly to issues that ariseParticipate in regular status calls and meetings with clients and internal project teamsCreate and maintain project documentation related to development, implementation, and transition phasesEnsure the Scrum Master / Project Manager is kept informed of task progress, risks, and action itemsTroubleshoot application issues and assist with defect resolutionPerform other duties as assignedPreferred SkillsThe ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:Hands-on experience with Low-Code / No-Code platforms, with Mendix strongly preferredExperience developing, testing, and deploying applications in Agile/Scrum environmentsFamiliarity with JIRA for backlog management, defect tracking, and sprint planningExperience working as part of a Scrum team (developers, BAs, testers, product owners)Experience with SQL Server querying, reporting, and diagnosticsUnderstanding of PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliance standardsExperience with automated testing tools and methodologiesStrong documentation, communication, and collaboration skillsAbility to support time-sensitive, high-visibility applications in a public-sector environmentNotes:Remote
