Description: Primary Responsibilities & Duties:Develop machining processes for new and existing partsCreate CNC machining programs using CAM SoftwareSupport projects introducing new CNC equipment from planning through beginning productionImplement CNC processes for product developmentDevelop complex NC machining processesCommunicate and resolve issues with maintenance, production, and engineering teamsTroubleshoot daily issues for order fulfillmentDevelop and improve new NC machining processes and perishable toolingInnovate and enhance processes for cost reduction, quality, and safetyTest new processes and technologies by executing a detailed planUnderstand manufacturing tooling principles, tool design, and qualityInterpret GD&T, product models, and printsMaintain archival and documentation resources for NC groups Required Skills & Experience:Proficiency with 3D CAD (Creo preferred) and CAM software (EdgeCAM, FeatureCAM, Creo/NC) or equivalentExperience with offline simulation software (Vericut preferred)Proficiency with tool data management software (TDM Systems preferred)NC Programming proficiencyMachining centers expertise, particularly in cast iron machiningStrong understanding of tooling and tooling systemsProficient computer and office software skillsExperience with in-process gaugingMulti-axis machining experience (Mazak machines) Desired Skills & Experience:Excellent communication skillsHigh attention to detailStrong motivation and initiativeBackground in Robotic/Automation Education:Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent working experience Additional Information:Must be comfortable driving a client-owned Gator on the shop floor after completing safety training Notes:Shift: 1st Shift (Start time between 6 am to 7 am, 8-hour workday) VIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
