Mailroom and Dock Lead/ Facilities Floor Associate (Rotating Role)This dual-role position supports both mailroom operations and facilities floor services across multiple buildings on the client campus. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and customer-focused, with the flexibility to rotate between mailroom and facilities duties as needed.Manage day-to-day operations, provide guidance to another Mailroom Associate, and assist with training and developmentCandidates must possess excellent customer service skills. While the role begins with hands-on experience on the dock to learn operations, the worker will quickly transition into regular interaction with senior administrators and executive-level personnel. A strong customer service background and professional communication skills are essential for success in this position.Mailroom and Dock ResponsibilitiesSort and deliver incoming mail to employees and tenant buildingsProcess outgoing mail and manage FedEx/UPS shipmentsMonitor and maintain cleanliness of the facility receiving dockPick up and deliver mail and packages across assigned buildings/floorsProvide responsive service to mailroom inquiries via phone and emailTrack onboarding/offboarding for mail folder setup and workstation movesComply with mailroom and dock safety protocolsPallet jack is requiredWear steel-toe shoes when working in dock areasFacilities Floor ResponsibilitiesMonitor and tidy copy rooms daily; restock paper and office suppliesTrack confidential shred bin pickup schedulesMaintain conference rooms (clean whiteboards, restock markers, remove clutter)Assist with workstation moves and light-duty setupsRespond to facilities service requests and perform minor maintenance tasksSupport daily facilities operations through assigned tasks and troubleshootingExecute basic repairs and upkeep based on facilities team directionChange out and recycle printer tonersPick up and deliver file boxes for off site storageQualificationsProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Ability to lift up to 50 lbsValid driver’s license and auto liability insurance requiredStrong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasksReliable, flexible, and team-oriented with a positive attitudeExcellent customer service and communication skillsSelf-starter with sound decision-making abilitiesNotes:Onsite
