Job Description


Janitor

The Janitor role is crucial to maintaining the hygiene and cleanliness of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties that keep the company’s premises in a clean and orderly condition. Attention to detail and a positive attitude are essential.

Responsibilities:
Regularly cleaning and sanitizing offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and public areas.
Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in all areas of the facility.
Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste in a sanitary manner.
Performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks, including but not limited to replacing light bulbs and unclogging toilets.
Ensuring that all cleaning supplies are stored safely and are used in the correct amounts.
Monitoring inventory of cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed.
Reporting any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications.
Assisting with setup and teardown for events or meetings.
Ensuring exterior areas such as walkways and parking lots are kept clean and free of debris.
Complying with all health and safety regulations and practices on site.

Qualifications and Skills
Education: High School Diploma
Previous janitorial or cleaning service experience.
Ability to handle equipment and machinery used in cleaning.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
Excellent time management skills, ability to multitask, and maintain schedules.
Strong attention to detail and dedication to providing high-quality work.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Physical stamina and mobility including the ability to reach, kneel, and bend.
