Manufacturing Engineer I- Weld

Your Responsibilities:
As a Weld Engineer you will:
Support the Order Fulfillment Process (OFP). Support operators with quality questions, issues.
Work closely with weld manufacturing engineering team for a project or process
Operate in a team environment supporting welding operations within the enterprise order fulfillment process

What Skills You Need:
Background in Engineering (mechanical, welding, industrial)
Knowledge of manufacturing and/or distribution processes, quality, tooling, tool design, total preventative maintenance, and facilities
Expertise with engineering tools, systems, and databases

What Makes You Stand Out:
Experience with robotic weld systems (Fanuc)
Strong familiarity with engineering tools, systems, and databases
Quality Engineering or other quality experience
Understanding of line and process design, material presentation, cycles of imbalance, and management tools
Manufacturing engineering expertise and supporting weld and assembly processes, quality, tooling, tool design, PLCs, robotic systems, facilities

Education:
Ideally, will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent manufacturing engineering experience

Experience: 1-3 years

Top 3 skillsets:
1.) Provide Front Line support for weld. Manual Robotic, Line Calls, Troubleshoot issues and tooling. NOTE: This talent will NOT be performing any weld applications.
2.) Continuous improvement process relating to fixtures, efficiencies, and support of the weld process. Understanding of line and process design, material presentation, cycles of imbalance, and management tools
3.) Quality Engineering or other quality experience as it relates to Weld processes

Notes:
1st shift: 6:00-2:30pm
Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime (daily (10 hour day) and weekends as needed)
