Description: As a Manufacturing Laboratory Technician I you will be responsible for:Execution of instructions to manufacture chemical and biological reagentsRecord and audit information (e.g. batch records, log book)Analyze data against predetermined requirementsCalibration and maintenance of lab equipment (e.g., pH and conductivity meters)Lab duties as required (e.g. restocking and sanitizing workstations)Use of SAP software for production transactions and inventory controlExhibiting knowledge and use of current good manufacturing practices (cGMP)Exhibiting knowledge and use of current good documentation practices (GDP)Maintaining compliance with International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and FDA requirementsDeveloping technical skills with the support of biochemists and managementThis position includes the handling of all types of materials, including hazardous and DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) controlled materials Required skills to have for the success of this role:Minimum of an Associate’s degree with a concentration in science (biochemistry, biology, chemistry, etc.)Excellent organization and time management skillsExcellent work ethic and attention to detailAbility to work individually and in a team settingRole requires ability to bend, squat down, and lift up to 20 pounds on their ownRole requires ability to push/pull large tanks (with assistance) and to stand for extended periods of timeGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel) Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:Previous experience working in a cGMP manufacturing laboratory, or a similar laboratory environment preferred Notes:7:30 AM - 4:00 PMVIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
